With the Christmas season upon us & the blanket of snow that surrounds us, we are captivated by this stunning styled bridal session! This team of talent came together to recreate and re-inspire a classic winter wedding! The beautiful colour scheme brings the holiday season in with a timeless look with a twist! We absolutely love the use of antlers and the cross section of a tree trunk to bring a rustic feel to the design. The florals in this shoot cannot go without mention, the bouquet is jaw dropping! Thank you Ruby Peoples Photography for sharing this with us! We simply can’t get enough of it!
FROM THE PLANNER:
“Winter Wonderland” was designed using warm textures and deep gem tones to create a romantic feeling with rustic charm. Mingle illuminated the Barn at Honeysuckle Hill using elegant gold chandeliers and romantic candle light. The 100 year old wooden farm table was adorned with vintage china, gold flatware, rustic wooden chargers, linen napkins and antlers that held the place cards. We chose mis-matched seating for the farm table including wooden ladder-backs, an olive green upholstered chair and a gorgeous crimson red velvet tufted sofa. The photo shoot took place at a rustic yet elegant barn that embodies timeless charm and rustic elegance and this theme was important to incorporate in the design. Our dessert table was a vintage sideboard that housed 3 gorgeous (and yummy!) cakes designed by Black Mountain Cakes. KTW Designs created romantic inviting stationary and menu cards with the “Winter Wonderland” theme in mind. The meal was intended to be hearty and warm and the wine to be as sweet as the red velvet cake. The floral garland, by Bella’s Bloom, draped the centre of the table and overflowed to the seating. It was created with grapevine and was filled with magnolia leaves, bolls of cotton, mixed berries and fir and of course brass candlesticks with romantic taper candles. Mingle also added to the overall ambiance by incorporating a vintage mantel, ice skates, snow covered Douglas Fir trees with twinkle lights and a gorgeous bride draped in elegant pearls and fur. The whole beautiful scene was photographed so perfectly by Ruby Peoples Photography, and real-life bride Caitlin was the perfect model in her wedding dress from The Marriage Vine. “Winter Wonderland” was created and inspired by the romance and love that winter season brings.
